7s - Machine Pitch - Little League 'A' Division

Teams are formed by a 'draft' by coaches to efficiently form the rosters and coaches generally pick friends, neighbors, and classmates of their children.  Parent requests for player placement are not honored. 

The season runs from late March until Mid-June and is generally one practice and one game on Saturday for the first few weeks of the season and then one weekday game and one Saturday game for the remainder.  

Portable pitching machines are used to help players develop their hitting skills and avoid the pitfalls of coaches pitching.  This division focuses on player development and allows for equal playing time and opportunities for players to play different positions. 

Little League Baseball rules apply to this level as outlined in 'Little League Official Regulations and Playing Rules' and as modified by our league.
